Tick-Tok

One moment you fit

In the palm of my hand.

Then you’re peeing on the rug

For the hundredth time.

There you go chewing up my shoes

There go the blinds.

And things start to finally

Slow down.

I see you looking at me.

A hundred days pass by

Like a hundred minutes.

And I enjoy

Every second of it.

I just wish your clocks wouldn’t

Tick so fast.

Someone please show me

How to freeze time.

While I have a counseling background, none of this is professional advice. I am just a person who feels deeply and is hoping to spread hugs during this crappy time.
